The Kevin Kline Awards were so much fun!!! And actually winning the award was just the cherry on top of what was an absolutely fabulous experience! That evening also filled me with a renewed belief in theatre in this country... we will survive this economic turmoil and thrive as a result. There is value in Art!!! And we'll get through this time with flying colors!!! BELIEVE IT!!!
Okay... and for a bit of news: new gig! I am currently (and proudly) understudying Exit The King on Broadway! I am covering three lovely and massively talented women: Susan Sarandon, Andrea Martin and Lauren Ambrose. The cast is lovely, welcoming, warm and fabulously talented, lead by the funny, kind and brilliant Geoffrey Rush!!! (Bill Sadler and Brian Hutchison fill out the rest of this marvellous cast) (btw, could I use any more adjectives? I think not!) If you can, please come and see it!!!
